CITY ARSENAL, KRAKOW
As a part of reconstruction and renovation of the former City Arsenal at ul. Pijarska 8 in Krakow, our team will be responsible for the implementation of the ventilation system in the building. The task of CentroClima engineers will be the assembly of mechanical ventilation and aeration of the staircase, as well as the delivery and installation of steam humidifiers, which will automatically adjust the humidity level in all rooms.
The entire system will be based on a cooling factor – ice water, which is environmentally friendly. In the case of a leak, its emission to the atmosphere is much smaller than the popular and more frequently used freon. As part of our ongoing partnership, our team will also take care of periodic inspections of aggregates and service them if needed, because the appropriate air quality is a particularly important element in the case of very old historic buildings, that are often damaged by time which causes constructions to frail and have problems with proper air circulation.
The City Arsenal in Krakow was erected in the middle of the 16th century near the defence walls. Today, the resort is part of the historical headquarters of the Czartoryski Museum. In the former armoury, rifles and guns were stored, and in the basement of the Arsenal gunpowder was buried.
