In the case of hospitals, an increased hygienic standard of air conditioning and ventilation systems is critical. In order to maintain the sterile conditions of operating theatres, so-called laminar ceilings are used most often. They guarantee a linear (laminar) air flow at a uniform velocity around the operating table. In other areas of the clinic (corridors, halls, waiting rooms), air conditioning units are installed that provide comfort to patients and staff of the facility.

For utility rooms, server rooms, data banks, switchboards and other rooms in which heat is emitted by specialist IT equipment, advanced systems are used to maintain a constant temperature. This is so-called precision air conditioning that regulates and maintains air parameters based on fail-safe and efficient devices with dynamic control.

Large shopping venues such as shopping centres and hypermarkets require the use of ventilation units with variable air flows and often with two-stage treatment. The huge cubic capacity of the rooms entails the necessity for adjusting a year-round air conditioning system to a predefined level that will be comfortable and safe while shopping. On the other hand, a large complex of smaller service locations within a single building often requires the use of a central air-extractor unit with energy recovery, heaters and recirculation for intermittent use of the premises, working with internal circulating air treatment units.

Car showrooms combine the functions of an exhibition space and staff rooms with workshop, technical and service spaces. Such a diversity of rooms can be served by different systems: air conditioning for comfort in the showroom and staff space, an air curtain at the entrance gates and a special ventilation system, for example, for the paint shop.
